Create a Painting With Meaning
A commissioned painting can transform a meaningful place, memory or moment into an original work of art.
I work with clients to create custom acrylic paintings inspired by special landscapes, homes, cottages, favourite places and personal photographs.
The process begins with a conversation about your vision and the story behind the subject. From there, we discuss the composition, size and colour direction before I begin the painting.
I welcome photographs that have personal significance, and I can work with you to determine which image or combination of images will create the strongest composition.
The Commission Process
1.) Consultation
We discuss your ideas, photographs, preferred size and overall vision.
2.) Composition
I work with you to establish the strongest composition for the painting.
3.) Painting
The original acrylic painting is created in my studio with regular progress updates when appropriate.
4.) Completion
Your finished painting is carefully prepared and, when requested, professionally framed.
